Portrait Drawing

  • Each participant will go home with a completed portrait.

    This course is for the totally intimidated, or for those with little portrait experience! Portrait drawing is about learning to see… not raw talent. It is about rendering character, not just a likeness. You will create your own realistic portrait by learning the techniques of drawing and pencil shading. You will need to bring an 8” x 10” photograph or you may choose from a collection of images. Completed portraits will be approximately 11” x 17”
